The Non-Woven Workshop provides facilities to manufacture textiles from various fibers using a dry method, without a wet felting process, thus allowing multiple materials to be incorporated within a single textile surface. The Workshop has a line of laboratory machines for carding – arranging the fibers, layering them, and combining them by means of a needle bed or melt fibers, which enables felted textiles to be created within a relatively short space of time.
The Non-Woven Workshop is led by Irit Badosa.
