The Electronic Prototyping Lab specializes in embedded electronics, physical computing, wearables, IoT, and the intersection of art and science. It offers a complete solution for prototyping: from circuit design and etching, to 3D printing of mechanical devices. The work focuses on DIY design and fast fabrication methods using commonly available tools and materials, while permitting work on demo projects. The lab specializes in working in an interdisciplinary environment, typical of the work and research conducted at Shenkar.
The Electronic Prototyping Lab is led by Zohar Messeca-Fara, multidisciplinary designer, electronics practical engineer and audiovisual experimentalist & and Yair Reshef.
